On membership
What actually happens at a capped, room-sized event.
The membership is capped on purpose, and that one choice shapes everything downstream. Here's a piece of what that looks like up close.
Small, and staying that way
Room-sized is the point. You can meet everyone. The drop still means something. Nothing about it is designed to scale past the cap.
We'd rather turn away the next member than dilute it for the last hundred.
The cap holds. It's the one promise we've decided never to renegotiate.
