A weekend in Obudu, slowly

From the road
Mountain mornings, the long way up, and the case for doing less.
The cable car is the postcard, but the mornings are the point. Mist sitting in the valley until about nine, then burning off to show you how high you actually are.
Do less, on purpose
We build the Obudu trips with gaps in them. An afternoon with nothing scheduled is not a failure of planning; it's the plan. You came to the mountains to slow down, so we let the itinerary slow down too.
The best part of the weekend was the part we didn't book.
Three nights is right. Two feels like you only just arrived. Four and you start checking your email again.
